Actions Micro炬力北方的AM836x系列包括了AM8360D、AM8360B、AM8362D三种型号，是一款针对多媒体应用的高度集成混合信号SoC处理器。

AM836x嵌入式CPU是一款高性能、低功耗的32位RISC核，具有DSP指令扩展，运行速度可达700MHz。AM836x处理器采用硬连线多格式视频编码器，支持多种流行的视频格式，包括：全高清分辨率的H.264。AM836x集成无损或近无损图像/视频压缩和解压缩模块，可通过1Gbit/s以太网传输RGB888格式的1080P视频,AM836x处理器不仅集成了HDMI Tx与HDMI Rx接口，还内置1个USB OTG控制器、UART、I2C、SPI等通讯接口，并且内置512Mb DDR2内存芯片，因此无需在PCB上挂DDR2内存，有效的降低了用户成本与缩减了方案设计尺寸，是一款巨具性价比的音视频全高清显示解决方案。
